Craniofacial Disorders

Craniofacial Team

The Craniofacial Team organizes and provides long-term, multidisciplinary, coordinated care for those with congenital and acquired defects affecting the head, face and neck, including cleft lip and palate, and cranial, facial and jaw asymmetry. The team is located at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center in Hartford. Specialized care is provided there and at UConn Health Center and Hartford Hospital.

Services

The Craniofacial Team includes plastic surgeons, maxillofacial surgeons, otolaryngologists, neurosurgeons, pediatric developmentalists, geneticists, dentists, orthodontists, a nurse practitioner, social workers, and speech and language pathologists.
