The Nurturing Families Network is a program of the Children’s Trust Fund and is offered to first-time families in birthing hospitals and community-based agencies throughout
Connecticut.

Nurturing Prenatal Programs |

"Prenatal Parenting" is an 8-session program for expectant parents focusing
on the social and emotional changes of pregnancy and preparing for
parenthood from pregnancy to postpartum. Topics include infant development,
stress management, getting to know your new baby, and emotional adjustment.

Nurturing Parenting Programs |

Nurturing Parenting Programs are 10-session programs providing parents with
support and learning opportunities on topics such as healthy discipline,
effective communication, and enhancing parent-child relationships. Parenting

"Moms Morning Out" |
|
A drop-in social group for parents of infants. The group meets monthly on
the first Thursday of the month at UConn Health Partners, 65 Kane Street,
West Hartford.
