The Nurturing Families Network is a program of the Children’s Trust Fund and is offered to first-time families in birthing hospitals and community-based agencies throughout
Connecticut.
The UConn Health Center is a proud provider of Nurturing Families Network programming.

An 8-week program for expectant parents focusing on the social and emotional
adjustment and preparation for parenting – from pregnancy to postpartum.

“ABC’s of Parenting”: A Nurturing Parenting Program
for Parents of Preschoolers |

An 8-session weekly program focusing on establishing healthy discipline,
ways to develop children’s self-esteem, ways to problem-solve, how to cope
with anger and stress, and preparing for children entering school.
Facilitators use children’s literature as the vehicle for discussion and
understanding the curriculum. Children’s group is included in this program. |
