Good Health, Good Life Programs

A Personalized Approach

A key ingredient for good health and successful aging is personalized medical care. That’s exactly what men and women receive through the UConn Health Center’s Good Health, Good Life programs. The UConn Health Center is the only university hospital in central Connecticut and has a long history of research, education and clinical care focused on the special needs of aging patients.

About Our Programs

Geriatrics Associates
A team of board-certified aging specialists provide individualized care for mature patients. We listen to your concerns and provide complete care, looking at the full picture of each patient’s medical, social, family and psychological needs.

Services include:

Strategies for Healthy Aging
We work with patients to develop a “prescription for healthy living.” This may include advice on nutrition, exercise, skin care and the prevention of diseases associated with aging.

Primary Care
Physicians with Geriatrics Associates provide comprehensive care for patients, including ongoing primary and preventive services, such as regular check ups, immunizations, flu shots, and more.

Specialized Care
Our aging specialists are trained to prevent and manage the unique, and often times multiple, health concerns of older adults. We help patients who need referrals to other medical services and provide specialized care for those who are admitted to UConn’s John Dempsey Hospital.
