The University of Connecticut Health Center Department of Patient Relations is seeking recent patients to serve on a volunteer Patient and Family Advisory Council. Anyone who’s been a patient
at John Dempsey Hospital in the past 12 to 18 months is eligible to apply.
Council members should be committed to improving patient care and will be expected to:
- prepare for and attend regularly scheduled meetings, and
- participate in and support council decisions.
Applicants will be interviewed by this summer. The first meeting is planned for September.
