healthy. The following support groups meet at the Health
Center or other locations with the help of our physicians and staff.

Gynecological
Cancer Support Group |
|
The group is open to patients, family members and caregivers. It is
designed to act as a forum for those affected by gynecological cancers:
ovarian, endometrial, cervical, fallopian tube, or peritoneal cancer to
share experiences and information but most importantly provide each other
with a supportive community. This will be in collaboration with the National
Ovarian Cancer Coalition a nationally recognized organization whose mission
is to increase public awareness of gynecological cancers; to advance
gynecological cancers research; and to provide educational and support
services for the gynecological cancer community.
Participants will be able to learn:
- How others faced this disease and made adjustments to
their lives
- What to expect from different treatments
- How to manage post treatment issues that arise
